This negativity also has a difference in the person’s actions and behaviours. In this article, we would look at some of the common facts associated with clinical depression.

There are lots of signs and symptoms which indicate that the person is a victim of clinical depression. A person who is always sad, anxious and always wants to stay away from the crowd could be regarded as someone affected by this problem. Sleeping problems could also be some indications.

Sleeping a lot or not sleeping at all is a very strong symptom of this disorder. Reduction in the appetite or an increased appetite is also a sign of this mental disorder. Restlessness, irritability, headaches, chronic pain, constipation, difficulty in concentrating, feeling of hopelessness, thoughts of death and suicide are all very strong symptoms of this mental disorder.

Clinical depression is very common and people within the age group of twenty four to forty four are the ones who generally get affected by this problem. Some of the factors for this mental depression could be things like past history of depression, suicide attempts, family history of this disorder, no social support, alcohol or drugs usage, etc.

There are lots of studies going on relating to this mental disorder and it would be disheartening to know that most of the suicides and other self killing moves are all related to this problem. As per statistics, this mental disorder is the eighth leading cause for deaths in general and is the third leading cause for death among people within the age group of fifteen to twenty four.

Clinical DepressionThe cure for this problem should start with the person. If the person does not accept or recognise this problem, then it would be not very easy to cure this problem.

The person should be able to differentiate between this mental disorder and sadness or sorrow. It is important that the person stays calm and does not blow the issue out of proportion. The person must understand that there are certain symptoms and indications relating to this problem which are not that very dangerous and their presence will vanish by the course of time.

This approach towards this problem will not only stop creating problems for them emotionally and mentally but their clinical depression will not affect their family members as well.
